Farzana Mitu’s seven novels launched

Seven novels of young writer, Farzana Mitu, have been launched recently at the capital’s Bishwo Shahitto Kendro auditorium, reports UNB.

Eminent writer and editor of Bangla-language newspaper Kaler Kantho Imdadul Haque Milon unveiled the cover of the books as chief guest at a programme held with veteran journalist Kamal Lohani in the chair.  

Two publication houses - Dibya Prakash and Desh Publications - published the books on the eve of the month-long Amar Ekushey Boi Mela that begins Wednesday.

Actor Khairul Alam Sabuj, juvenile litterateur Humayun Kabir Dhali, recitation artiste Shimul Mustafa, publisher Achintya Chayan and actor Ishita, among others, spoke on the occasion.

The launched novels are ‘Golpoti Onyo Rokom Hote Parto’, ‘Aaj Dighir Biye’, ‘Prioyatomeshu Amar’, ‘Srabon Dharay Esho’, ‘Titier Mon Bhalo Nei’, ‘Thako Amar Na Thaka Jure’ and ‘Leela’.
