At least two persons were injured in a clash between two factions of ruling Bangladesh Awami League’s student front Bangladesh Chhatra League on Dhaka College campus on Saturday.
The injured were identified as Russell and Mamun who are now taking treatment at the emergency unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
A total of seven motorcycles were also torched during the clash, according to police.
However, police said they brought the situation under control.

Witnesses said supporters of BCL Dhaka College unit convener Noor-e-Alam Bhuiyan had an altercation with the followers of its joint convener Hiron Bhuiyan on the campus in the evening, triggering a clash.
At least 20 to 22 gunshots were said to have fired during the clash.
Assistant commissioner (Patrol, New Market) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Ahsan Khan confirmed the incident.
On information, additional police force led by Ramna zone deputy commissioner Maruf Hossain Sarkar rushed to the spot and cordoned the campus.
