Bannya’s birthday celebrated in style

Renowned Rabindra Sangeet singer Rezwana Choudhury Bannya has celebrated her birthday in her own style, performing Tagore songs at Channel i and spending time with her students.

A number of artistes, writers and poets, among others, joined her birthday programme on the premises of Channel i on Friday morning.

Later in the day, Bannya went to her music school Surer Dhara at Lalmatia Housing Society School ground and spent some time there with her students.

 “I never make plans for my birthday celebration. It is my near and dead ones who celebrate the day,” said Bannya.

She added that the love and support she receives from her fans, friends and family inspire her to go ahead.
